Welcome to The Bridge!
What a great adventure life is...full of excitement and sometimes uncertainty!   The Bridge Ministry is for young adults from the ages of 18 - 26.  During this time in life many critical decisions are made that last a lifetime.  We call this time “the gap.” Young adults launch out on their own, leaving their parent’s home and begin a journey to build their own.  Decisions made during "the gap" will not only influence their life, but the lives of their future family's as well.

    •    What values will you carry with you?
    •    What filters will you use to choose friends?
    •    Will you go to college, vocational school, or begin your career immediately?
    •    Who will you date/marry?
    •    Will you commit to Godly standards or orldly passions?

The answers to these questions and others will impact the rest of your life.  The Bridge Ministry helps young adults find solid answers in God’s Word.

First Baptist Church has a dynamic College & Career department made up of two small groups that provide Biblical teaching and real life application.

Connections is a Bible study fellowship that is focused on reaching, teaching and ministering to career adults.  This class is a safe place to be yourself and share life together as we deal with the current issues and challenges facing young adults.  You will be able to connect with others in your life-stage as well as be cared for by leaders that have a heart for young adults that can offer guidance from their own life experience. Most importantly we are about connecting with Christ through His Word each week and encouraging one another toward becoming more like Him.
